Travel Notes: Coaches travel and lodging expenses will generally be covered by PPSC, although athletes traveling to out of state events or special events where only few athletes qualify may be asked to cover coaches travel and lodging expense.
ATHLETE CONTACT COACH: Athletes will be assigned a “contact coach” who will be in charge of making sure that the athlete is getting everything they need to prosper and have fun at the same time. While all the coaches coach all the kids at some time or other, it is up to the contact coach to keep the athlete on track with what they need to be working on. As coaches, we will ask first what it is that the athlete is working on with their contact coach, and then coach to that particular issue. We aim to keep our communications focused and to all speak in the same technical language. Parents with questions please direct them to the athletes contact coach. We coach the athletes in groups according to age or gender rather than by ability, as we have seen remarkable strides made by kids totally new to the sport. Contact groups will be configured when we have a good idea of what our membership totals will be. Please use these email addresses when contacting coaches:

TEAM PARENTS: Each age class has a PPSC Team Parent to facilitate communication and to specifically help out in the following ways: 1. Coordinate parent volunteer for each training session
to answer questions, direct late arrivals to training trail, handle emergencies
and provide a social atmosphere which would encourage more parent involvement.
We would like to have a parent present in the ATC during weekend and holiday
sessions, especially during and after the morning meeting times and at lunch, to
fill in late arrivals as to the plan for the day. The team parent does not
always to do this themselves, but rather arranges to have a parent there to
listen to the meeting and pass on the word. We rotate weekends and holiday days
so that a J3 parent would be responsible one weekend, then J4, then J5/6. 6. To assist with car pooling information for those who may need it in that age class. PPSC TEAM PARENTS 2006-2007J5,J5 Gail Weeks 603-472-2383 J3 Deb Scheetz scheetzfamily@comcast.net J1/2 Susan Hughes 603-715-2993
