Hello ,
For all of you who are or would like to be an Alpine Official, the clinics will be held on Sunday Dec. 4th.
Officials need to be certified to serve as Chief of Race or Start and Finish Referees (known as Jury Advisors) and those certifications need to be updated every two years. Chief of Courses do not need certification although there is a clinic for that.
The club offers one work credit to those who join USSA as an Alpine Official and attend the clinic. The clinics for CR, CC, and JA are from 1- 5 in the afternoon.

Since there will not be clinics specifically for CR, CC and JA, the study guides, from the USSA web site, will be essential. Please download, print and STUDY! Referring to the study guide during the exam is not allowed by USSA.

Everyone should bring the Comp Guide and a calculator and pencils.
Scratch paper may also be useful.
Note: Alpine Officials currently certified for T&C, CR, CC, and RA are REQUIRED to attend an update/clinic every two years in order to maintain their certification. The Update and Review clinic will satisfy this requirement. The L1, Advanced or L3 Timing Clinics, or an Alpine Official's clinic will also satisfy this.
